Join us for a special gathering at Tangled Roots Botanicals in Downtown Glendale, where author Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz will read her magical book, Nana Lupita and the Magic Sopita.
This family-friendly event includes kid-centered activities and delicious treats and tea inspired by the book!
Storytime will take place on the grassy lawn of Tangled Roots, so please bring a cozy blanket to sit on. Extra blankets will be available if needed.

This interactive event features a panel discussion with local food folks, a guided zine-making workshop where attendees will contribute a few pages to a compiled community zine, and a food collaboration with Chef Dana Arbel and Bagelfelds.
Tickets include:
- A copy of the 2nd issue of Bagelfeld’s If You Know You Know Zine
- Lively panel discussion moderated by zine creator Ryan Avery
- Zine workshop led by Charissa Lucille of Wasted Ink Zine Distro
- A compiled community food zine (electronic version)
